Semi-automatic espresso machine testing guide
1
Make sure the extraction pressure of the semi-automatic coffee machine is 9 bar; the water temperature is 92°C and the water pressure is stable, and the inside of the powder bowl is clean and dry.
2
Adjust the grinder and use an electronic scale to weigh the coffee powder. Determine whether to use 18 or 20 grams of coffee powder for extraction according to our recommended extraction plan.
3
Put the coffee powder into the powder bowl and use the powder distributor to spread the powder: rotate it until the powder surface is flat. Use a powder hammer to compact the powder cake. During the powder compaction process, make sure that the force is even and the powder hammer is vertical to the powder surface. A tilted powder surface will lead to uneven powder extraction. (Do not knock the powder bowl after compacting the powder)
4
Pour water into the brewing head 1-2 times;
extract as soon as possible after tightening the handle
5
Use it as soon as possible after concentrated extraction to ensure the best flavor.
Note
The above parameters are obtained through testing at a practical baking factory. Different grinders/water quality/grinding degree and extraction equipment will affect the flavor performance. Suitable extraction parameters can be adjusted according to the actual situation. We respect everyone's extraction habits and taste preferences, so you are encouraged to explore different extraction methods.
